:p I regret most of the content/jokes here. 40% of which are cringe-worthy. This is not a blog that I'd want my nephews/nieces ...or anyone to read, actually. but it's still up here because of sentimental reasons. The blog took a lot of time to build & I just don't have the heart to delete it. If you do find the jokes funny - I'm happy to know that they're entertaining. Otherwise, here's a more "proper" one http://coffee-choc.blogspot.com ...prob not as funny, mainly about chocolates and coffee and food & music

Charred Cheese, Bacon and Herb Scone at Starbucks Coffee

Errm... I didn't know that Starbucks Coffee would be so severely affected by the recession that they would resort to serving charred scones to patrons in order to cut cost ;p

Beeeaauuutiful!!!
The Barista who served me this masterpiece either took advantage of my good nature... or just didn't have a single clue about what's non-edible...

I didn't kick up a fuss, but surely, she could have put herself in my position and questioned why I'd want to pay for that thing!

  4. What kind of standard is Starbucks coffee for an International Brand? May be they think this young Asian lady could be easily cheated? I sure she dare not serve this kind charcoal burn food to her own kind of people.
I hope Starbucks HQ USA will see this write of your. May some one from Auckland write and forward this report to Starbucks HQ USA.
If I am you I will never pay for it and ask the Manager to change why pay for it?

  5. i feeeel good, i feel like I're in NZ now, yummy...should be chilly right? was in Australia in last year, round this time. I remember i was in NZ in August 2006, on my way to Sao Paolo (SP), Brazil via BA, Argentina. Now, i reminisced cities like Belo Horizonte and Vitoria in Brazil, each 2-hour flight from SP. I was forced to speak Portuguese (which is tougher than italian or spanish)! eg.obragato but in spanish, italian or even germany....grasia, grazie, grasi (respectively!)
